06/01/1999: A South Lebanon Army (SLA) soldier was killed when an explosive charge, set by unknown perpetrators, blew up near his vehicle in the Jazzin area of southern Lebanon. This was the second SLA soldier killed by a roadside bomb explosion in the Jazzin area within a few hours.
