Incident Summary:

06/11/1999: Suspected Armed Islamic Group (GIA) members slashed the throats of fourteen civilians in Sidi Naamane, Algeria, apparently in response to a peace deal signed between the government and the Islamic Salvation Army, the armed wing of the Islamic Salvation Front (FIS). One other person was also injured in the attack.
