Incident Summary:

06/14/1999: Hundreds of Maoist insurgents attacked a striking force of police in the village of Lala, Jajarkot district, Nepal, killing four policemen and four civilians, and injuring an additional six police officers. The assailants also seized three revolvers, 18 rifles and more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition in the attack.
