07/09/1999: Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) rebels used automatic weapons to attack a police station in El Boqueron, Colombia. Two policemen were killed and there was considerable structural damage. In addition to this attack, the FARC also attacked two other neighboring towns on this day.
