07/25/1999: Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) rebels bombed the Neuuco Endurance, a ship docked in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. The one person on board was missing and presumed dead. Authorities believed that this was the work of one or two suicide bombers, but such reports were not confirmed.
