Incident Summary:

08/04/1999: The Police Special Task Force (STF) truck was ambushed in Veppamkulam, Vavuniya District, Sri Lanka, by a woman suicide bomber from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Thirteen elite police commandos, the suicide bomber, and a civilian were killed and at least thirty others were injured from this attack.
