Incident Summary:

08/07/1999: A 50-year-old Israeli man was discovered dead in his burned-out car on the Nablus-Jenin road in Area C, not far from the Samarian settlements of Dotan and Homesh in the West Bank. A leaflet distributed in east Jerusalem signed by HAMAS's military wing Izzadin Kassam claimed responsibility for the attack. A spokesman for HAMAS could not authenticate that statement.
