10/10/1999: In a series of related incidents, police in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka recovered bombs planted in the complex of the Kadiani sect, a minority Islamic group opposed to Sunni Islamics. Authorities safely disarmed the device without incident. Militant Sunni Islamic militants were suspected of carrying out the failed attack.
