01/17/2000: A bomb exploded in a busy Karachi district during evening rush hour killing nine people and injuring 25. The bomb was planted in a sugar cane juicer cart by unknown perpetrators. The cart and four shops were destroyed and the windows of nearby buildings were shattered.
