Incident Summary:

02/22/2000: Suspected members of the Casamance Movement of Democratic Forces (MFDC) killed two Senegalese soldiers and injured two more in a clash after the group attacked a transport vehicle and robbed its passengers of their property near Koda, Senegal. After clashing with the soldiers, the attackers fled towards the frontier with Guinea Bissau, taking the bus and several hostages (unspecified) with them. The hostages were later freed.
