05/06/2000: Albanian extremists were accused of blowing up the bell tower of a Slovinje Church in Kosovo on May 6, 2000. The United Nations mission there believe the explosion was the work of Albanian extremists because it had similar characteristics of 50 other church bombing that have been carried out since conflict began in the region. No one specific has been named.
