Incident Summary:

05/10/2000: On May 10, 2000, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) launched a wave of suicide attacks against the Sri Lankan Army. The attack was an effort to break through military forces in Jaffna to regain territory the Tigers used to control. 149 soldiers were wounded. The death toll for the rebels was not released.
