07/02/2000: Two Russian servicemen and eight civilians were killed in two separate truck bomb suicide attacks in Gudermes, Chechnya. In one of the attacks, three additional soldiers were killed in a gun battle with rebels following one of the bombings in Gudermes, Chechnya. Chechen rebels claimed responsibility for this incident in a call after the attack.
