Incident Summary:

7/7/2000: A bomb that was planted in the road remote detonated near a passenger bus as it was leaving the bus station in Lahore, in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. One person was killed and three were injured in the attack. The bus was bound for Gujrat. The incident occurred during a crackdown against followers of the ex-prime minister Sharif and a planned protest march. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
