Incident Summary:

09/08/2000: On the night of September 8, 2000, arsonists torched the Pony Club on Malvern Street in Belfast. The Ulster Democratic Party (UDP), whose military wing members frequent the pub, accused the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF), the military wing of the pro-British Progressive Unionist Party (PUP) for instigating the incident. The pub was destroyed, but no one was injured. There were no arrests.
