Incident Summary:

09/12/2000: On the night of September 12, 2000, a pipe bomb was found in the yard of Billy Hutchinson, on Ambleside Street in Belfast. Hutchinson is a member of the Progressive Unionist Party (PUP) in the Northern Ireland Assembly. Hutchinson's wife found the bomb, after which a British Army bomb squad arrived to detonate the device in a controlled explosion. There were no injuries and no known damage to property. The perpetrators were not known.
