Incident Summary:

09/21/2000: A bomb planted by the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) on the Banda Aceh - Medan road near Lampakuk, Indonesia, exploded injuring a mobile brigade policeman. This was one of several traps that had targeted police. GAM forces commander in Aceh, Rayeuk, claimed responsibility for a series of bombings against police targets in retaliation for a police attack on a GAM headquarters.
