10/20/2000: Unidentified people heavily wounded the former Georgian minister of fuel and energy, Davit Zubitashvili, as he passed the front door of his house last night in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Ministry of Internal Affairs believed that an attempt was made to abduct the former minister but after he put up resistance, he was shot point blank.
