11/06/2000: A fishing boat, laden with explosives, blew up near an Israeli patrol ship off the coast of Gaza. The Israeli ship was not damaged and Israeli authorities believed that the boat had detonated prematurely, killing a suicide bomber. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
