11/14/2000: National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) forces attacked the village of Catala in Bie Province, Angola. Nineteen people were killed and 30 others were wounded in the attack and an unknown number of civilians were kidnapped. The fate of the kidnapped was not known.
