Incident Summary:

11/22/2000: An unidentified perpetrator attempted to stage a suicide bomb attack on the Sehit Ismail Akkoyun Police Station in the Umraniye district of Istanbul, Turkey. The attacker was shot and killed by police, who saw him approach the station with grenades. A child who was passing by the street was wounded and hospitalized.
