Incident Summary:

11/26/2000: An explosive device detonated inside a garbage can in a park in Bagcilar Square, Bagcilar district, Istanbul, Turkey. Two people were injured in the attack and a third person was treated for shock. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion although someone did telephone the police before the incident with the anonymous tip that the device was in the park. Motive is unknown.
