Incident Summary:

11/27/2000: In Cabanatun City, Philippines, two suspected members of the New People's Army (NPA) entered a restaurant and shot and killed Senior Insp. Romeo Pillonar, the chief of police of Nampicuan, Nueva Ecija Province. Juanito Tayag, a civilian who was at the eatery, was also killed in the attack and two others were wounded as well.
