Incident Summary:

12/6/2000: A claymore mine detonated under a passenger bus traveling in the outskirts of Batticaloa city, Eastern province, Sri Lanka. At least three people were killed in the explosion, including one police officer, and 23 people were injured, including a second police officer. Authorities suspect that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) are responsible for the attack.
