12/11/2000: A grenade exploded at DXMS, a Catholic-run radio station in Cotabato City, Maguindanao province, Philippines. Thomas Eric Tanudtanud, an employee of the station, was injured in the attack. DXMS had received threats concerning a specific program called Radyo Kalimuidan that criticizes the practices of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). Police suspect that MILF was involved in the attack although the group denies it.
