Incident Summary:

1/25/2001: Anis Hussain Lak, the Tehreek-e-Jafria Pakistan (TJP) party district vice-president, was killed while riding his motorcycle to a school where he taught in Sardarpur village, Punjab, Pakistan. Two motorcyclists shot him, killing him and wounding his nephew and a bystander. The TJP states that the government is not doing enough to protect its members. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
