Incident Summary:

02/04/2001: Unknown attackers attempted to set off a bomb in the New Century Mansion department store in Kunming, capital of China's Yunnan Province. The bomb’s detonator exploded causing minor damage to the men’s restroom at the store, but failing to set off the bomb next to it. No one was hurt in the bombing. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
