Incident Summary:

07/18/2001: One woman was injured and smoke damage done when a letter bomb detonated in the Rete 4 television station in Milan, Lombardy region, Italy. Although mailed to the The director of news, a secretary opened the letter and was burned on her arms. The station was owned by Prime Minister Berlusconi, who was battling a wave of violence over his recent appointment after elections. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
