Incident Summary:

08/12/2001: Members of the Front National de Libération (Burundi) attacked the residence of Friar Joseph Ndikubwayo in Gihosha Colline, Bujumbura Mairie Province, Burundi. Two vehicles of the Friar’s were burnt and destroyed and his son was kidnapped, but released the next morning. Other vehicles were also burnt in the neighborhood and food was stolen. No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
