Incident Summary:

08/14/2001: A village near Lubango, in Huila Province, Angola was infiltrated by National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) members and the perpetrators opened fire on the homes. Another nearby village was also attacked in a similar fashion. In the two related attacks, 20 victims were taken to a hospital in Lubango of whom 10 died of their wounds.
