08/29/2001: Two car bombs were planted by National Liberation Front (ELN) members on the San Pablo-Simiti road, 6 km away from San Pablo, in southern Bolivar Department, Colombia. The vehicles were marked with the message "car-bomb" by the ELN. The bombs were found and detonated by the security services.
