Incident Summary:

09/09/2001: Suspected Maoists belonging to the People’s War Group (PWG) hijacked a bus and then set off a landmine at the village of Marrdmalli, India. Five policemen belonging to the Central Reserve Police Force were killed and four others were injured while pursuing the attackers. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
