09/28/2001: Maoist guerrillas belonging to the People’s War Group shot and killed M. Ghandi, a policeman, who was preparing to testify in a case against a member of their group in Saluru, India. The perpetrators also gunned down the policeman’s bodyguard outside the courtroom. No group claimed responsibility for the killing.
