Incident Summary:
10/22/2001: A bomb exploded at the police station in Tearce, Tearce municipality, Macedonia. No one was injured but the police station and neighboring municipal building were damaged in the explosion. The incident occurred just hours after the first mixed-ethnicity police patrols, comprised of Macedonians and Albanians, passed through the area. The patrols were deployed as a preliminary measure to attempt to regain control of the region controlled by ethnic Albanian rebels.
