12/01/2001: Two soldiers were killed and two others seriously wounded in a Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) attack on the Kattaparchchan camp in Muttur, Sri Lanka. It was estimated that over 60 Tamil Tigers took part in the attack, of which 10 were killed.
