Additional Information Found at the site of the incident were two bodies, apparently of the terrorists, in the area between the border fence and the Jordan River. Next to the bodies were binoculars, hunting rifles, and blankets. It was theorized that the terrorists hid in the area for several days and monitored the IDF activities. The attack took authorities by surprise as the Jordanian-Israeli border is typically peaceful.
