01/04/2002: Two brothers suspected of working for the Philippine military were killed by the New People's Army (NPA) rebels in Agusan del Norte, Philippines. Local police identified the victims as Emilio "Poypoy" Dela Pena, 27 and his brother Venerando, 22, both of whom were residents of the area.
