Incident Summary:

01/09/2002: Three militants' dressed as Indian army soldiers carried out a suicide strike on a brigade headquarters in Kupwara in Indian-controlled Kashmir. One of the militants lobbed a hand grenade and another fired a UBGL grenade, killing a soldier. Two soldiers sustained injuries. Two of the militants were killed.
