1/16/2002: At least ten members of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) attacked villagers in Dailongjhar, Assam state, India. The assailants randomly opened fire on the villagers, killing at least 13 residents and seriously wounding at least five. The attackers escaped through the forest.
