1/19/2002: Members of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC) remotely detonated a homemade bomb targeting the Hassi R'mel-Algiers gas pipeline at a spot in Krarib, Algeria. The pipeline was damaged and the gas supply to several surrounding cities was cut off for almost a week.
