Incident Summary:

04/14/2002: A car-bomb exploded along Colombian Presidential Candidate Alvaro Uribe Velez's campaign route in Barranquilla as he traveled to the Port Authority headquarters. The bomb destroyed Uribe's armored car and a bus. Uribe was not killed. There were 3 civilian causalties and approximately 20 injured. There were no claims of responsibility, though the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC)is suspected.
