Incident Summary:

08/10/2002: A Palestinian gunman opened fire in Mehora settlement, in the Jordan Valley, West Bank, killing a woman and seriously wounding her husband in their car. The gunman was shot dead by the Ultra-Orthodox Nahal members. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, the armed wing of Fatah, claimed responsibility for this attack.
