Incident Summary:

11/22/2002: A fishing boat with explosives was exploded when intercepted by an Israeli navy patrol off the Erez Crossing, Gaza Strip, Palestine. The two perpetrators on the boat were killed after the explosion. Four Israeli soldiers were injured. The radical group Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) claimed responsibility for the blast, insisting that the two on the boat were suicide attackers.
