01/11/2003: The village head of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Madimalla village inside India, Vidyasagar Rao, was shot and killed at close range by suspected members of the People’s War Group after being called out of his residence by about ten armed men. Mr. Rao was suspected of being a police informant.
