Additional Information The attack was the second by Lendu militiamen reported in less than three weeks. At the end of May of 2003, some 250-300 unarmed civilians were killed in the predominantly Hema town of Tchomia, on the shores of Lake Albert, which divides southern Ituri from neighboring Uganda.
