08/03/2003: Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) gunmen were suspected in the fatal shooting of Ivan Rincon Henao, the mayor of Aguadas in Caldas state, Colombia. His bodyguard was injured during the attack as well. Henao had received death threats from FARC the previous year. No group claimed responsibility for the assassination.
