Incident Summary:

10/15/2003: Three American members of a diplomatic convoy were killed and another injured when a remote-controlled bomb exploded beneath their vehicle near Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip. A group calling itself the Popular Resistance Committees claimed responsibility for the blast in a telephone call to a news agency in Jerusalem. Palestinian authorities detained at least six suspects in response to the attack.
