Incident Summary:

11/06/2003: In one of three related incidents, unknown perpetrators used gas canisters and Molotov cocktails to attack three commercial banks in Athens, Greece. The third of the attacks occurred when the perpetrators placed gas canisters outside of the windows of a branch of the Bank of Cyprus. The attack did not result in any casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the attacks, but authorities believed that the three incidents might have been related to U.S. FBI Director, Robert Mueller, being in Athens at the time.
