Incident Summary:

01/08/2004: A group of insurgents attacked a water front in the Amadi-Ama neighborhood of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The group invaded the water front in the late evening and continued the attack through the early morning hours, killing eight civilians. Seven buildings were also brought down using dynamite. Two police officers in the neighboring rainbow district also sustained gunshot wounds from the attack.
