Incident Summary:

01/18/2004: A car transporting a bomb exploded near a United States military convoy in Tikrit, Iraq. Two of the car's passengers were killed and another was injured. Authorities believed that the passengers were trying to attack the convoy and misfired the bomb. One of the men in the car was a relative of Saddam Hussein.
